David A. Coggin has been practicing law in Burleson, TX for over 40 years. He has strong roots in our Texas community and his deep-seated knowledge and expertise of the legal system here may only be surpassed by his many areas of practice.
Brief Biography
Coggin was born in Corpus Christi, Texas in 1950. After graduating from High School, Coggins went straight to Union College, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA degree.
Coggin's aspirations of becoming a lawyer found him attending Law School at the University of Texas. There, he graduated Order of the Coif in 1974.
After graduation, Coggin began working at Geary, Brice, Barron & Stahl in Dallas, and then Brice & Barron, where he gained an abundance of work experience from 1974 through 1977 when he opened his present firm in Burleson, Texas.

- Licensed to practice (home) in the federal courts for the Northern and Southern District of Texas and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals
